Apply To Join The Women's Board
Become a member of the Women’s Board and help us help the Riverside Foundation. We are always looking for new members willing to share their time, new perspective and talents. Our membership categories and annual dues are outlined below:
- Active Members ($35 Annual Dues): Active members play an active role in planning and volunteering for key fundraising event such as the annual Riverside Gala, 5K Race and Holiday House Walk in addition to various other mini events and activities throughout the year. (Put a link to the events page?). Active Members attend monthly meetings. In the event active members are unable to attend in person we try to accommodate virtually.
- Sustaining Members ($50 Annual Dues): While Sustaining members are not obligated to participate as part of their membership, this level is for members who were once active members but are no longer able to commit to 100% of the participation requirements of the active member. These members still tend to continue to be very active volunteers, when needed.
- Partners ($100 Annual Dues): While Partners are not obligated to participate as part of their membership, this level is for members who were once active or sustaining members but have limited availability to participate and volunteer. They continue to be welcomed and encouraged to share in as much as possible.
- Lifetime (one time $1000 Donation): Lifetime members have generously made a one-time donation to Riverside Foundation. These members continue to be welcomed and encouraged to share in any and all activities but at this point it is understood that they are generally not able to participate or volunteer. Generally, these are our members who have moved away.
Our goal is to have all members receive periodic communication such as newsletters from Riverside Foundation and the Women’s Board, a schedule of the Women’s Board monthly meetings, and notice of upcoming events. We encourage our members to tour the Riverside program sites and experience a connection with the community. The women’s board has many opportunities to volunteer at Riverside.
Membership is renewable each year by October 1st.
