History

A Long History Of Enhancing Lives

Established in 1987, the Women’s Board (formerly Auxiliary) is a volunteer organization who supports Riverside Foundation through fundraising events and volunteer activities with our residents.

The Women’s Board is backed by a dedicated team of caring volunteers who work together to support Riverside Foundation — and enhance the lives and well-being of our residents. Many board members enjoy 1 on 1 interaction with the residents. Throughout the years more than 200 members from the surrounding communities have enhanced the residents’ lives by participating in many social activities.

Testimonial

"A few years after moving to Lincolnshire, 29 years ago, someone introduced me to the Riverside Foundation Auxiliary, which is now known as the Women’s Board; I became a member and have been involved since. Through the years I've enjoyed my relationship with the group. Since joining I have chaired a number of galas, the profits of which have enriched the lives of the residents with a number of things that would not have been possible without those funds. Also, a plus of my membership was meeting many individuals that have become dear friends."
